Dr Bharat Saluja

Gender Voice Centre is proud to partner with **Dr Bharat Saluja**, an internationally respected Consultant Psychiatrist known for his compassionate, evidence-based, and innovative approach to mental health care.


With more than two decades of experience across Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and India, Dr Saluja has worked in a wide range of public and private mental health settings and is recognised as a leader in modern psychiatric practice. His global experience, combined with his commitment to ongoing research and innovation, allows him to provide highly personalised care that is both scientifically grounded and deeply human.


Dr Saluja holds qualifications in both **Medicine and Psychology**, giving him a unique appreciation of the complex relationship between brain, behaviour, emotions, and lived experience. He has a particular passion for supporting **neurodivergent individuals**, including those with ADHD, autism, and complex presentations that may have been misunderstood or overlooked by traditional healthcare systems.

Dr Saluja has served as **Unit Head of the Young Persons Mental Health Service and Acute Inpatient Unit at Monash Health**, one of Australia's largest health services, and is an **Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University**. He has authored more than **50 academic publications** and has received international recognition for his contributions to psychiatry, research, and mental health innovation.


Known for his thoughtful and collaborative style, Dr Saluja embraces contemporary psychiatric approaches that look beyond symptom management alone.
