FREE dark voice workshop

Come and join us on Saturday 22nd of June at 1pm-2pm AEST for a dark voice workshop for transmasc individuals. You will learn how to achieve an "open larynx" position for darker sounding resonance, mouth shaping, diaphragmatic breathing, and pitch control with certain phrases, such as a "customer service" voice.

What is the Gender Voice Centre?

The Gender Voice Centre was established in 2020 to help people achieve a voice they are happy and confident with. We are a team of speech pathologists who have a special interest in supporting people transitioning into their authentic selves.

 

Our aim is to provide a holistic, individualised, and caring approach that is both personal and highly professional. We enjoy engaging with people, listening to their story, and providing education, support, and evidence based research.

 

We are dedicated to ongoing professional development with the aim to provide up-to-date evidence-based strategies, as well as maintaining our connections within the community.
